One of the internet's favorite topics is dating. It's something that most of us do (or have done) and it can be emotionally vulnerable to do. Not everyone wants to put themselves out there because rejection can feel like a personal attack. Everyone just wants to find the one, but it might take a lot of "not the ones" before you get there. "You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince," you hear people say. But what about dating online? There's no doubt that the internet has changed the way we date, but is it for the better or for the worse?
The internet has given us dating apps and websites which have forged thousands of real, healthy relationships. But the internet has also made it easier to be cruel to one another since we don't have to do it face-to-face. And if there's one thing that's antithetical to good dating, it's cruelty.
