Tumblr Deserves Credit For Molding Us Into The Women We Are Today (Twitter Thread)

Tumblr had all of our hearts back in the 2010s.  We were all obsessed with creating the perfect aesthetic on our personal pages. We don't think about it enough, but Tumblr actually did so much more for us than we realized. Twitter user @abbygov highlighted how the website inspired a whole generation of teenage girls to teach themselves HTML and JavaScript in order to contribute awesome content to the site, and it launched an awesome discussion about how Tumblr changed people's lives.
