When a problematic coworker tried to accuse this IT guy of harassment he already was holding all the cards. He turned the tables on her with irrefutable evidence.
Redditor, u/-Morgoth-The-Great-, worked as Tech support for a large corporation. He expresses that he had some trust issues with his coworkers. "Now, I have some trust issues, and generally view a workplace as a minefield, and tend to have a "my colleagues are the enemy" mentality."
This led him to ensure that he always had his trusty audio-recording pen with him.
I would probably question some of the ethics involved with this. Recording people against their will is something that I disagree with. People have a right to their privacy that needs to be respected. However, -Morgoth- notes that recording people without consent is legal in the state that he lives in.
Regardless of my personal thoughts, it was Lucky that -Morgoth- had the pen with him when this incident occurred. When he was confronted by security and marched to HR he was able to prove his innocence and turn the tables on his accuser.
