Shudder-Inducing Rat Encounter Stories From New York: Twitter Thread
Is there anything more scary than when wild animals encounter humans? We have heard quite a few stories like that that have made us think that nothing could be worst. Like when a Florida man had to remove a bear from his porch to save his dog. Heroic, yes, but slightly terrifying. Or when a raccoon mom and her babies fell through a roof into someone's house and caused chaos. And who can forget that time that hundreds of crows randomly surrounded Walmart in what was a clear and undeniable bad omen. Really, that should have been our warning for all the insane things that are happening this year.
But… we cannot think of anything more petrifying than encounters with wild rats. The way that we have chills just thinking about those tiny little quick animals running beside us. And who is known more for a rat infestation than New York where the infamous pizza rat came from? Honestly… sometimes we're not even sure of New York is a real place.

We swear to god, just reading that, we can feel this rat climbing up our leg. Shudders. So many shudders all across our bodies. Mind you, we have never had a rat get anywhere near this close to us, yet we can still feel it as if we are the victim instead of this poor person.

You know, when we opened this thread, we half-hoped that there would be no more stories like this one underneath it. Of course, we were wrong, people rushed to share their own horror stories. But, we hoped, and we hoped in vain.
