Homophobic Bride Refuses To Invite Sister's Girlfriend To Her Wedding, Cue Family Drama

As much as we love our families, they can definitely be a handful from time to time. Weddings are supposed to be a time of joy and togetherness, but certain family members can't help but bring in drama for no reason. In today's 'Am I The A$$hole?' post, the bride is actually the one who brought drama to what was supposed to be her special day. OP is the bride's sister, and she also happens to be gay. When she originally came out of the closet, her family, including her sister, were not accepting of her sexuality. Four years have passed since then, so she thought they had moved past it. However, when OP's sister sent out the invitations, OP noticed that she didn't receive a plus one on the invite when straight couples did.
