Listen, this will happen every single time. There is no way to avoid this ever. No matter how expensive the tree, a cat will find the box that it came in and will choose it. That's how cats work. Something about boxes is like a drug for them. And like- we understand. This kitty does look quite fierce in there.

That's what we do every Sunday and dream about doing every single other morning of the week when we have to go to work. Oh, if only we could truly embrace the cat spirit… lie around all day, nap, eat, sleep, have our servants pet us, and clean our booties… life would be purrfect.
