When we're interested in somebody, we don't want to screw things up too early on. Sometimes things are so new that you feel like even the slightest hiccup can end the fragile foundation that you've found this new special somebody. Is it probably in your head? Yes, but we can't help getting nervous. So what do we do? We ask our friends and family for some advice on how to progress the relationship, and how to behave around this person in an attractive manner. Well, we've all gotten some forty terrible advice, haven't we? It's always the person who's been in some seriously shtty relationships that begins to unload their trauma onto you and your entirely new situationships. And hey, it's not entirely their fault, that's all they know, so they figure it's the rule and that giving you advice on how to deal with a*holes is generic and useful for everyone.
Well, clearly some people aren't the best to go for relationship advice, and on Reddit, men are sharing the most overrated advice they've ever gotten.
