Does everyone know that the "Friendzone" actually came from the show 'Friends'? At least I heard that once at a 'Friends' trivia party. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. But either way, we should get into the concept of what the "Friendzone" really means. I think it's fair to say that this word is most commonly used against women. It definitely can come off as problematic because when you think about it the idea basically insinuates that it's a negative thing for women to see a man as a friend. Perhaps it has more to do with whether she "leads him on" or not, but even that term is inherently misogynistic. But maybe the term has evolved and it doesn't need to be so derogatory anymore, maybe we've come far and we don't need to use it against one gender to protect the other. Either way on Reddit today men are joking around about the best ways to get out of the "friend zone". And yes this is completely satire so if there are any people hoping to get some actual advice, I would recommend not taking this list too seriously.
