One of those moments when you have no one to blame but yourself... but decide to blame someone else anyways…
Most people have the ability to admit that they made a mistake and own up to their own failings. Mind you, it's not something that's easy to do; the ol' ego has a particular aversion to acknowledging any wrongdoing or fault. Most of us can push past the ego gremlin and own our mistakes, but there are certain entitled and narcissistic people on this planet who, if you asked them, would tell you they've never done a damn thing wrong in their entire lives.
This Karen is one of those people when she was faced with the reality that she had no one to blame but herself for burning her family's Thanksgiving dessert in the oven; she instead turned to blame the company who had made the pie. Now, this company had nothing to do with the baking — they merely provided the hands that put the thing together. All Karen had to do was turn the right knobs on her oven, set a timer, and slam the thing in there. Apparently, even this was too much for her to handle.
When Karen posted a complaint, along with a photo of the scorched pie, onto Facebook, she was quickly roasted by those outraged at her inability to accept responsibility for her family's ruined Thanksgiving dessert.
