That's clearly what this Mom is hearing when her son said he once again will be spending Christmas with his wife's family this year since they organize a large gathering annually. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/likagadi, who admitted to losing it on her son and finding it ridiculous that they can't come to a compromise.
Now, here are some more facts to get the record straight. It should be noted that her son and daughter-in-law have a newborn and can't really travel out of state. There's also the option of the Mom coming to them, but clearly, she has refused to consider that possibility. There are also 364 other days in the year and plenty of Holidays that can be "her" time. If anyone needs to grow up here, it's the mother.
