Some cat owners really are living the fantasy that their cats are their children. But this cat, this cat really is like a baby. He does that adorable things that toddlers do when they want to be picked up by raising his arms and waiting for the hug that lifts him into the air. It's so cute to look at him patiently wait to be picked up. We met another cat recently, "Keys" who did something similar, but didn't like to be picked up. Why he lifts his arms is still a mystery.
But his cat just wants snuggles, and it's the wholesome content we needed to make our heart all aflutter. It's times like these when we remember that cats can really march to the beat of their own drum and can be super affectionate sometimes. And we love that. We love love, especially when it comes from a cat - because it's one of the purest forms of love there is <3.
To infinity, and beyond! This kitty is giving us major Buzz Lightyear vibes in all the right ways. He just wants some chest snuggles (don't we all) and to be close to his owner. Maybe next time our partner is mad at us, we'll just do this and everything will be forgiven? Does it work like that?
This is a common thing? We've never seen a cat do this before, besides "Keys". It's adorable. Where do you think they learned it from? Other babies? From being uncomfortable when their owners picked up them up in other ways?
