Hey y'all. Who here loves a good sploot? What is a sploot you ask? According to Cat Time, "Splooting describes one of the silliest things a four-legged friend can do while relaxing. Splooting is when a pet lays out on its belly while having both hind legs splayed out behind them instead of being neatly tucked under their torso." And we have got to tell you, it is absolutely adorable. The term 'sploot' is especially associated with Welsh corgis and is used affectionately in the internet slang of DoggoLingo.
Though both dogs and cats and even hamsters can be found splooting on hot days and during times when they feel like stretching out and having a break. Unsurprisingly, the internet finds cats doing unconventional poses such as splooting incredibly interesting and cute. We would have to agree with the interwebs on this one. The art of the sploot is an art that not any cat can master, it takes a very special feline to fully embrace the art of the sploot. The fluffier the butt, the more satisfying the sploot. Just have a look for yourselves. These felines are embracing the art of the sploot and we are here for it. Keep serving, kitty cats!
