Pawdorable Senior Dog Gets Post-Bath Zoomies, Proving That Elder Pups are Still the Sweetest Goobers

For some inexplicable reason, dogs sometimes lose their marbles and get the zooms. There's a lot of mysteries surrounding zoomies, but what we know for certain, 100% for a fact, is that when your dog gets the zoomies, it's the cutest thing in the world. Usually when dogs get a ‘wild hair’ and start to run around like a maniac, it's because they're excited or energetic. Puppies get this uncontrollable display of emotions all the time, but senior dogs on the other hand, are old and grouchy right? …WRONG.

This is Momo, the senior dog who still packs an energetic punch. This 12 year old pooch is a rescue from Korea and was shipped off to her furrever home when she was well into her golden years, but she still has that spark of the pup in her step. In fact, she has all the spice of a younger dog, especially after bath time. Recently, Momo has captured the hearts of the Internet when her owner shared the most wholesome video of her getting the zoomies– senior style. 

Momo is shown darting out of the bathroom. She's fluffed, dried, and high flying for a doggo her age. 

She dashes in slow motion around the house with each step seeming more like a little hop than an actual running motion. What's extra cute is her dopey smile plastered on her powdered sugar face. She's simply thrilled. 

Momo is truly living her best life in her later years. She also gives us all hope that our puppers will be this elated and happy to live life when they're reaching geriatrics. In hooman years, Momo is basically in her late 60's! Retired and stoked on life, Momo is goals right now. 

She's still got the zoomies 🥹🥹🥹

This spitfire terrier isn't the only elderly rescue in this house. In fact, she is one of many pups that have been brought into the rescue in their later years. Momo's senior center bestie is named Fig, who is also an older pup living the good life. 

These two will happily live out the rest of their days in style, getting hand-fed the best fresh foods, getting funny little grooming sessions, and zooming their way into pup Heaven.
