As somebody who has spent too long staring into the dark and despairing void of social media, I almost envy those who get enjoyment out of freely posting to Facebook. Good for you, random individuals who get your kicks out of responding to engagement bait and complaining the traffic situation on your way to work! I'm glad that the more wholesome dedicated Facebook users feel the positives of having a sizeable presence on there.
However, we do have to reckon with the existence of too much of a good thing. There are plenty of Boomers in the world who have been corrupted by a terminal Facebook addiction, or at least, it has emphasized their bad traits. It makes it a pretty wild place to have a casual scroll, which is saying something, given the current state of the mainstream internet. It shows no signs of slowing down in that department.
