Catzilla's Invade a Japanese Diorama Restaurant, Destroying Every Miniature Train They Can Get Their Claws On

There's a place in this world where simple, street kitties can become giants. These Catzilla's have completely taken over a diorama restaurant in Japan (yes, it's really a cafeteria-style restaurant that has a ton of miniatures as decor) and the kittens have quickly become the main attraction. So if you've ever wanted to know what it's like to be the size of an ant in a cat's world, this is the place for you.

It started as a simple idea: the restaurant owners wanted to create a unique experience where their patrons could come enjoy a nice bento-box lunch, while checking out their miniature towns. As hobbyists and enthused interior designers, they turned a simple restaurant into a world of miniature towns with mini trains and tiny townsfolk dioramas. It was all peaceful and wonderful until… Everything changed when the kitties took over.

Stray cats flooded the restaurant one day and decided to take over ownership of the dioramas. Hilariously, that not only boosted business (since cats are as much of a draw as miniature trains, apparently), but the cats quickly became a more iconic staple of the restaurant than their original marketing pitch. The miniature trains were surpassed by Goliath cats, reminding patrons why we should be thankful that kittens don't get much bigger than 10 or 15lbs.

The cattos wreak havoc on the tiny towns, dominating the tracks and playing cat-and-mouse with the moving trains. Since they're remote controlled, the owners have grown quite fond of using each train car as a lure to get the cats to run around the restaurant, entertaining guests as they go.

Honestly, it may not have been their original idea to bring patrons into their restaurant with a fleet of feisty felines, but it is definitely working! People travel from all over the world to see these iconic Catzillas in action, terrorizing the tiny miniature cities in Osaka just as the real Godzilla terrorized devastated Tokyo. Would you want to check out a fur-ball restaurant like this? Certainly the cutest danger monsters could convince you to take up miniatures in your own home.

He blocc, he attacc

Flights to Osaka only cost about $2000. That's certainly worth it for this once in a lifetime opportunity to see a gaggle of ranshackle kittens taking over an entire town.
