I cannot be the only one going to therapy, right? Most people nowadays have at least been semi-convinced once or twice in their lifetime by an avid believer of a friend who 'only wants the best for them'. Either you are that friend and you begrudgingly listened and your life is better for it, OR you are not that friend, but the person who initiated the idea in the first place, because you found it so 'helpful', in which case, kudos, because that means you are better for it, too it.
See, therapy used to have this ridiculous stigma, but nowadays, it's basically all the rage. Celebs are going on about it, telling people they 'definitley should try it' as if everyone has a couple thousand dollars to spare each month. Yeah, therapy is expensive, who knew? But hey, it is definitely worth it. There is no price to put on 'mental health'. So, scroll down, enjoy the smiles and the serotonin, and have a great day.
For more, a mother who grounds her kid for six months because he broke a vase. Yes, it is sad.
