But what is it about cats that make them so special? They actually have special vision that makes it easier for them to see at night. It's called tapetum lucidum, and it gives them their glowing eyes in the dark. How cool would it be to be able to walk around in pitch darkness, but still see everything around you? Not only do they have that special reflective layer, but they can rotate their ears up to 180 degrees independently to pinpoint tiny sounds, which is why they make such incredible hunters. 


I remember being a kid and being so fascinated about cats. They're beautiful, they're elusive, they're also hilarious. Humanity loves cats so much that we often dress like them for Halloween! I can't count the number of times I've dressed up as a cat for Halloween, it's the easiest and cutest costume.
