'This is unforgivable': Fiancé plans to leave his heavily pregnant girlfriend home alone for Christmas to spend the holidays with his real family

If you have ever been in a serious, long-term relationship, chances are you've met the in-laws. Building a relationship with your partner's parents can be one of the most challenging aspects of marriage, but most of the time, it's necessary. While some people are more fortunate than others and can instantly connect with their partner's family, others may require some additional time and effort to help navigate.

The differences in our upbringings, values, and traditions can oftentimes cause misunderstandings and miscommunication. That's why both parties must make a conscious effort to make each other feel welcome. 

And that brings me to today's story. The highlight is on OP, a heavily pregnant girlfriend who is due to give birth at the end of the month. She turned to Reddit to vent about her fiancé who just booked a flight to spend Christmas with his biological family because 'it's tradition'. Is she going with him, you may be wondering?
