Scientists Baffled By Mysterious Alien-Looking Worm With Golden Mane Found in Antarctica, Reddit Rouses an Unexpected Answer (Pictures & Comments)

Hey, Animal Comedy-ers. Yes, you're seeing the picture correctly. This scary-looking worm creature was recently found in Antarctica, and we honestly have no idea what it is. It looks like something out of the Dune movie, but instead of sand, it was buried in ice. We've seen enough horror and science fiction movies to know that whoever found it should just put it back where it came from. The last thing we need on our plates right now is an alien invasion.

You know that whenever you have a question, you can always turn to Reddit for an answer. It didn't let us down, yet again, and it turns out that this scary (albeit fabulous) looking creature is actually an ancient kind of worm called eulagisca gigantea. The weirdest part about this is the teeth, to be honest. Without the teeth, it could be some sort of weird cat toy, or a Christmas ornament gone wrong. At least it appreciates looking nice because you don't just evolve gold spikes on your body for no reason.
