You know, the more stories of mountain lions that we come across, the more we think that they are the most house-cat-like of any big cats. Seriously. We have seen mountain lions do some of the most cat-like things. Mountain lions play just like little kitties in the wild. Mountain lions enjoy catnip just like house cats. Mountain lions wake their humans up in the morning with slobbery kisses and requests for food. And apparently, they are also just as photogenic as all of our house cats as well.
Who knew? Not us, and it seems that the rest of the internet didn't know either, because the second these pictures of a wild mountain lion next to her cub got posted to the internet, twitter went berserk, calling this mother… Mother, and saying that she's serving - because she is. And the memes came a floodin' instantly.

We'll be honest, the first time this picture popped up on our timeline, we were too distracted by all the… eww on the right side of the picture to really notice the mountain lion momma, and we scrolled away (you're welcome for blurring it, by the way). But the second time, the third time, the fourth time, fine, we had to take another look, and we do not regret it.

Yup. This mountain lion momma is so fierce and stunning and photogenic that it kind of made the internet lose its mind. Plain and simple. We have not seen so much excitement about a kitty on the internet for like- a week or something, which is huge. The memes came a floodin', and we are laughing.
