Rachel Ebel is a photographer from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She lives there with her adorable 3 year old Dalmatian, Griffen.
Ebel decided she will try the impossible and train Griffen to smile on command.
As Ebel told the HuffPost "The 'Dalmatian Smile' is an endearing, though at times terrifying, trait thats unique to the breed." She wondered if she would be able to train her pup in order to capture his smiles and share them with the world.
Ever since Griffen was a puppy, Ebel has been praising hm whenever he decided to flash a random awkward smile.
After 3 years, 6 months, 18 days and a super high pitch signal voice of "Smiiiiiiile" Ebel finally accomplished the goal she set out to do. She has finally taught Griffen how to smile on command.
Rachel was so proud of their accomplishment that she decided to post to Reddit. And shortly after, the post started getting a lot of attention. Thankfully many people seemed to love Griffen's awkwardness.
The somehow adorable yet, terrifying smile makes us gaww in amazement!
Well done Griffen, we hope to see those pearly whites more often!
