Happy Friday, cat people! And welcome back to the cutest, most pawsitive and wholesomest segment on the internet. Is it even a Friday meowrning unless we started it by meeting the newly adopted faces of the week?
Each and every Friday morning, on ICanHasCheezburger, we start the day with a brand new collection of the cutest and most heartwarming cat adoption stories of the week. Because no matter how crazy the rest of our week may have been, starting the day by seeing a bunch of kitty cats find their furrever homes means starting the weekend on the right paw.
As always, we want to say the biggest thank you to every single person who adopted a cat this week. And, of course, an even bigger shout out goes to those of you who adopted the "impurrfect" cats - the senior cats, the sick cats, the rehomed cats, and more. These kitties may need a little more love and care, but they will be the bestest of companions. We wish you all a meowrvelous weekend!
"This is Max (big boy) and Magnolia! Even during their separation phase before they met, Max would be by her door 24/7. Since the day they officially met, they absolutely love each other. They're inseperable! He watches over her, grooms her, and I even saw Max "teaching" her how to use the stairs!
Magnolia was found ON the road of a busy intersection by my house. A large truck turned, and ran over her - thankfully she's small so the tires went around her and didn't hit her. After seeing this I grabbed her (last pic) and took her to an urgent vet! She only had a URI, conjunctivitus and a scab on her lip. Other than that she is the sweetest, cutest little thing that LOVES kisses! Max of course is my sweet boy too, one of the best cats ever (even the vets say how well behaved he is)"
"We went to the shelter to adopted ONE kitten. We chose a cute 8 week old tabby. As we were waiting for shelter staff to box up chosen tabby, this black kitten distributed itself to my children. Took full advantage of young, impressionable, emotionally vulnerable children. My son said it best in the video, "this one wants to be adopted so bad!" So we left with two kittens."
