The cat distribution system works in ameowzing ways, and this story is no different. The summer heat is in full swing and our sweet feline friends without furever homes are in need of some extra help. They might be afraid of us because they don't know us well, but that just means they're playing hard to get. Every catto wants a home to call their own filled with fuzzy blankets and warm windowsills. Put on your Steve Irwin safari hat and get your hands on a towel that you can use to scoop up these sweet furry babies — wouldn't you want someone to save you too? As feisty as some stray kittens can be, they'll warm up to you quicker than you can say “pawdorable”.
The woman in this story was finally chosen by a little scared kitten who was dealing with some health issues on top of living outside in the summer heat. So, she did what cat lovers do best: find more kittens to surround herself with by rescuing this little one, later named Kimchi (because she was found in Koreatown). The woman took Kimchi to the vet, where she found out her mouth/dental health was in pretty bad shape. Kimchi was rejected from four shelters, so the woman knew what she had to do: teach him a little about love and then find the purrfect home for him. Kimchi's story ends (or really just begins) when the woman's family friend eagerly takes him to give him everything he'll ever want and need.
