Have y'all heard the latest J.K. Rowling news? I try not to focus on it too much because I don't want to platform her horrific views on trans people, but the latest meme attached to her is too wild to believe. Her Twitter profile picture has come under fire for appearing to have black mold growing on the walls. If you google "J.K. Rowling Black Mold," you'll see that this isn't an exaggeration. Because of the backlash from this (which includes the insinuations that the black mold is the cause of her attacks on Algerian boxer Imane Khelif), she has changed her profile picture, but something equally strange looking is in the background of that image. While I, as much as the average Potterhead, wish she would just log off and retreat into her castle forever, I'm not sure that doing so would be the best for her health. If you care about Harry Potter more than the latest JKR drama, these Harry Potter memes are totally unrelated.
