There's nothing more infuriating than being stuck in traffic or otherwise stuck in some other horde of slow-moving masses of people. It's claustrophobia inducing and defies your internal logic: you could and should be able to get where you're going faster than this so why can't everyone just get out of your way? Why is everyone else going to the same place at the same time you are? This, of course, is a selfish way to think and act, and most of us know this even when we find ourselves getting frustrated by the situation at hand. But, the reality is, that everyone else is going to the same place at the same time we are for probably the same reason. There's nothing about this situation that makes us more special or more important than any one of them.
But, try reasoning this to an entitled person who does fin themself to be more special and more important then everyone else around them. These are the types that cut up the shoulder or sidelines without a second thought about the fact that they're being selfish and defying order and reason. This Karen was one of those people when she confusingly demanded that everyone else waiting to leave a packed parking lot get out of her way so that she could leave.
