Marketplace's Shanghai Bureau Chief Rob Schmitz has gone where only one other reporter has gone before: the factory floor of Foxconn, Apple's Chinese producer, where a rash of suicides and reputed poor working conditions have prompted a "Foxconn suicides" Wikipedia page.
Schmitz's insights, via video and his Reporter's Notebook, reveal an evolving concept of the assembly line, and a 200,000-strong community where, to no one's surprise, "nobody is a fan of the work."
