If you've ghosted one too many therapists or you simply just want to be mute for the next 10 minutes while you reflect on all of your consuming thoughts, you've come to the right place.
Anxiety has a way of taking us by the hand and leading us down a dark path. Instead of basking in the last of the summer sun, we're huddled under a number of blankets and hoping that the embarrassing thing we said five years ago hasn't made everyone hate us. Though there's a learning curve to dealing with these unwanted, unrelenting thoughts, it's nice to know that we as individuals aren't the only ones dealing with the anxious scaries.
My therapist says I'm "too self-aware" and that "therapy won't work" if I keep talking about my problems as if I'm a washed-up stand-up comedian, but I beg to differ. There's nothing like a morning in bed with coffee and a side of self-deprecating memes to fix the frantic thoughts in my mind. save for the fact that sometimes, we just want to get a good laugh in about ourselves and receive a good reminder to not take anything too seriously. We are on a floating rock, after all.
