‘A pup's favorite game’: Senior chihuahuas play a puppy game of escape and catch after woman comes across one in the woods, wholesomeness ensues (VIDEO)

There's nothing more adorable than a senior dog acting like a puppy again. However, sometimes those puppy antics can stress out an owner. For example, the puppy game of escape and catch. This is when the puppy playfully sneaks away from its owner without the owner knowing so that they can come find them! How fun right? WRONG. Any dog owner knows the second you think your dog is missing is when your heart jumps into your throat and you start panicking. That's what happened to this poor down owner. A senior himself, handling two senior chihuahuas, he thought he was just on a nice little stroll through a trail in the woods. His wife had just gotten the old girls new harnesses and they were ready to rumble! Little did he know that those harnesses were a taaaaad too big for his itty bitty senior chihuahuas. When one slipped out, he hardly even noticed at first…

Luckily, a couple on a hike noticed a lone old chihuahua in the middle of the woods and found it very odd. Obviously, chihuahuas are not wild animals. So she easily scooped up the old lady and started making her way slowly back down the trail while the boyfriend ran down back to the parking lot to see if anyone was looking for a lost pup.
The girl came across the frantic old man looking for his one lost chihuahua and she was happy to reunite them. He was just telling her how he thinks these new harnesses are too big when the second senior chihuahua slipped out and darted away playfully. Adorable to see senior dogs act so silly for their age, but lordy lord. Give your hooman a break! The boyfriend from earlier was in the pup's path and quickly scooped her before she got too far. The old man thanked them profusely and walked the rest of the way back to his car with his sweet senior pups in his arms, unable to wiggle away this time.
