Gaming can be so cozy this time of year. There's nothing quite like firing up Runescape after a long night of baking pies with your dad. It makes you feel like a kid again. The games that we played in childhood are such important pieces of our development. I remember spending what felt like hours trying to beat "The Impossible Quiz" when I was in elementary school. I also remember losing days to Miniclip, and all the games contained therein, especially Raft Wars. It was a special time in my life, bonding with friends at sleepovers and putting together outfits for Pete Wentz on Stardoll.
In a way, I yearn for that simpler time, especially this time of year when many of us are going home for the holidays, maybe even sleeping in our childhood beds. But we can always still play, no matter how old we are. Game, and look at memes. That will never change.
