Hoomans have always admired the flexible maneuvers cats can pull with their limber physique. How could we not? It looks like a superpower, as if they're made of rubber. Just think how you'd feel after a long day at the office if you could stretch like a cat. Makes you want to sign up for pilates, doesn't it?
But cats don't use their abilities to show off, nor to purchase pricey Alo Yoga. Their main use of their superpower is to squeeze their fluffiness into tiny, unexpected places. Being curious, to a dangerous degree some would say, they aspire to examine every nook in the book. You'd find them in cereal boxes, sofa cracks, jars, pots, and a variety of machines. Once you've recovered from the heart attack, your only challenge as a cat pawrent is to get them out if they're stuck.
We suggest you don't rebuke them too much, because it won't prevent similar occurrences in the future. Cats will be cats, and that's what cats do. All you can do is raise your cuddling time with these frisky felines to the max. It's a win-win situation: you'd know where they are and that your belongings are safe. Plus, you get to enjoy the snuggle. And if you're still searching for your kitty cat, here are some amusing ideas for where to look.
The first difficulty is to locate their whereabouts in the first place. If you don't mind the constant ringing, you can attach a tiny bell to your cat's collar, but remember, they tend to wake up in the middle of the night and wander around. Otherwise, just scan for any sort of movement in the room.
The second challenge in the cat's curious nature is to maintain a ZEN mindset while moving around the house. Every closet or box you open has the potential for a furry paw to pop out. If you don't keep a stoic demeanor, you might scare yourself half to death.
