"Shoshone Falls is known as the Niagara of the West. It is 212 feet to the canyon floor. 50 feet higher than Niagara Falls. It is located just east of Twin Falls, Idaho. The best time to see the falls is in the Spring when the mountain snow is melting and feeding the falls before irrigation season starts. 14000 cfs in April 2011, 18000 in June." --svseashells
