The Longer You Listen to Carly Rae Jepsen Sing in Simlish, the More You'll Realize How Little Lyrics Matter in Pop Music

"Simlish" is the gibberish based language found in the every day life simulator game, The Sims. If you played The Sims growing up you may remember a few choice words being thrown at you in Simlish as your Sim refused to walk to the bathroom because there was a chair nearby, peed itself and then fell asleep in the puddle.

The Sims are still at it and Carly Rae Jepsen has translated one of her songs from this year to this fictional babble. It's just as catchy but the lyrics make no sense. At first, it's kind of funny when she launches into an empassioned chorus but try to listen the whole way through. By the end of the song you might realize that you had no idea what the original lyrics meant anyway. This babble is functionally the same.
