Bad News of The Day: Edgar Wright Leaves Ant-Man

Bad news Marvel fans Edgar Wright has left Ant-Man. Wright was going to represent the next step in Marvel's shift to non-traditional hero movies after horror-guru James Gunn gives us Guardians of the Galaxy later this year.

"Marvel and Edgar Wright jointly announced today that the studio and director have parted ways on Ant-Man due to differences in their visions of the film," read a statement released on Friday. "The decision to move on is amicable and does not impact the release date on July 17, 2015. A new director will be announced shortly."
