Conclusion: Nothing about it is actually good, other than the fact that voting is back (which still is working in a very bad way). It looks like 9gag, forces ourselves to show our facebooks (lucky me I got a facebook account for Lolligator), and has a terrible lay-out. If they WILL force this abonimation onto us, they'll lose more than half of their users, including me.

Statement 9: Desperation I don't exactly know how it all works, but often enough I get FORCED to go to the beta. When I click on the link to to go memebase home or type it into my browser's adress bar, it sometimes automatically goes to the beta. This is very unoften, but still. Also, last time I tried to leave the way I left each time (clicking at the top left corner), a giant pop-up appeared shouting 'Y U NO STAY AT BETA!?' , and I had to answer to continue, THEN click again to leave. I simply answered, in capslock "BECAUSE IT SUCKS ASS". In other words, they are desperete to keep us there against our will.

Statement 8: Voting. We can vote here again, awesome. They even took the thumb-up or down voting system which I like the most. However, it's terribly executed. Seriously, I FIRST have to vote to see the opinion of others. And when I do vote, it takes ages to load that into it's slow system and show me the end results of voting. Terrible. It's also confusing as hell as the voting buttons aren't coloured and I keep clicking on the wrong ones.

Statement 7: "We’ll keep improving and listening." Utter bullshit. If they ever listened at all, they would long have abandonned the idea, removed the whole facebook thing (or atleast partically) and bring back voting to old Cheezburger.

Statement 5: "Less waiting on your mobile browser." That's nice and all for those using mobile phones with access to memebase. However, just like with statement 2, it has nothing to do with New Cheezburger, and is just something to make it look better again while totally unrelated.

Statement 4: "A commenting system everyone is already familiar with." I hate you, whoever the fuck came with this idea. As far as I can tell they'll change it so we can only use facebook (or yahoo, ect.) to comment. It's fucking ridicolous.

Statement three: "Just one click to any of our 60-plus sites." The whole navigation bar at the top of your screen. Sure, that's handy. But it proves to be annoying. First of all, it's fucking huge. There's no need to make it so fucking huge. It's annoying. Second, it isn't really that needed. The navigation has always been at the bottom of the page, and it took less than a fraction of a second to scroll to it. Last but not least: the huge-ass things that appear when even just hovering your mouse over it for less than a second. Half the bloody page gets filled. If I want to click on a tab or anything of my browser's navigation thing, I cant do so without being slapped in the face by that huge fucking navigation bar, because it's blocking the path of my mouse.

Statement two: "You’re busy. So the new Cheezburger is faster." They bring up more servers to run faster. This is great and all, but doesn't really have anything to do with the new Cheezburger. I think they only put it there under the whole new Cheezburger thing to promote it more (who doens't like more speed?), while it doesn't really have anything to do with it. A sad excuse to promote the new one with.

Oh boy, here we go! Statement one: "A cleaner, simpler site. Fewer distractions between you and the funny." Basicly, they remove a lot of things. Not only does the thing look empty as heck, but their whole reason for that is to prevent the poor souls from scrolling too much. Sure, at the Beta there's less space between the LOLs. However, the whole reason there was space under it was because of that whole 'your cheezburger site' and facebook button thing right under it that slaps you in your face at old Memebase. Something they put there themselves just recently. Next to that, because there is so little space part of the picture is already slapping you in the face right on your screen while reading the one before that, meaning part of the joke is already visible while you're not even done with the first one. This is annoying and decreases the fun of the joke.

Nevermind, I didn't notice you already did. I think Einstein's theory is just a story thought up by timetravellers to disapprove of time travelling. They got in trouble for time travelling and thus went to the past so everyone would think it's impossible.

Yea, it's completely by luck. Usually they appear quite quickly. I recently made 2 posts (1 was a remake of one that I made). The first one was frontpaged on Ragecomics in less than one day. Just half a day later the other one appeared on Graphjam. My conclusion is that mods will frontpage things that were made recently. On the other hand, my first frontpage took about 2.5 weeks. On a sidenote, I really lol'd at how you started the "Failure to communicate..." one of yours, using actual proper French.
