You tell me, Jassy, it is your dream after all. If I had to guess, it sounds like the ruby/amethysts being there imply two different halves to represent the whole. And the fact that they were going out and you were trying to light them again probably implies something. What was the experimenting for, if you know? And since magic was mentioned in there, maybe it has a play, too...

I think if the amethyst implies you're contentment and happiness, then the ruby would probably represent some kind of passion of some kind, seeing as they were both your experiments (or what I read). I think it makes sense otherwise to say that your non-traditional path of doing things result in your pleasure and peace of mind. You'll have to tell me about passion being stolen. XD What does "experimentation" or "science" (or variants) result with?
