*While you are working alone at night in the library, you see a mist forming before your eyes. You are curious as to what sort of interruption you will have to put up with this time. A black shape forms, a pegasus that seems to drink in all light. The only feature you can make out are sharp teeth, grinning cruelly. You start to get nervous, and back away, but before you can get far, the ninjagasus moves like black lightning and pins you to the floor. It looks down on you, no pity in the black pits where eyes should be, and takes a sai from it's waistband. You see that it has a hollow point... as it is thrust into your bowels. You shriek with pain and horror as you feel your lifeblood draining into the weapon, which seems to darken from pale steel to blood red with each pulse of your failing heart. Your life flashes before your eyes and you realize you never loved anypony as much as you did your books, and that was a mistake. Life is meant for living and loving, not shutting yourself up behind a wall of learning! Oh, for another chance, please! I'll do it right next time! You feel your heart slow as the last of your blood drains into the thirsty weapon, but you realize with even more awful horror that the weapon continues to drink... your very soul! Your awareness passes out of your body and up into the sai. Then you feel it reversed in the hooves of the ninjagasus, and as it is thrust into the assassin's abdomen, you feel yourself entering the body and blood of your killer. You are a whirling mass of memories and emotions, as you pass through the body, up towards the center of intellect. You realize you are looking out of your murderer's eyes as you look down on your bloodless body and then all fades as your soul is consumed, one of dozens to be digested so, by the souleater. You last sensation is passing into a shadowgate, then all is oblivion.*
