Been on the computer for a long, long time - since the 80's (preInternet, believe it or not), plus I used to work on computers for work for many years (25?). I'm just a wee bit hyper, as well 0.o

Sad, but true! These lil guys just landed in my life. I volunteer for a no-kill shelter for bunnies and kitties, but such places are rare here. It's so amazing to see how happy the cats are to have a little love and attention - they repay it with such love and caring. They truly know when they've been rescued. Puts us humans to shame, to my way of thinking. Keep warm and safe, my friend!

Only you know what's best for you, sweet lady :) Many hugs to you - you may share my kitties long distance in the meanwhile: JerryGarcia (an 18 yr old striped tabby) and Lolly (a 6 yr old black and white domestic longhair). Both are rescues who, in return, have rescued me. Take care of you! :)

Do not worry too much about offending. If people don't like what they see, they can ignore it and move on, yes? As far as replacing your kitty, you can't replace family I think. Find yourself a little rescue baby who needs you as much as you need them. Your memories of your kitty will not ever be lost. There are so many animals who need homes. You may want to look for an older cat - they are so incredibly thankful to find a home. Do what's best for you, of course! My best thoughts to you, dear friend! Yeah, computers are clearly time-sucks, but how else would I meet great folk like you? :)

I enjoyed greatly typing with you last night! I also enjoy your irreverent captions and laugh heartily at your LOLs! Never fear on that account :) I am a child of the 60s and grew up questioning everything - including of course the governments of the world. I love the UK and hope someday to visit. Been all over the United States while working and have been to the Caribbean and Mexico and Canada, but never got "across the pond" - but I will one day, I swear it! My daughters have been to and tudied in Amsterdam, Italy, the UK and France. I myself am British-Irish-Welsh-Scottish by descent. My elder daughter is doing some family tree stuff for us and is looking into where my family might be from (a BIG job). At any rate, I don't sleep much, am currently unemployed other than the occasional side job I might get. My kitties are doing great. Hope your animals are well, too. Please feel free to type at me anytime, dear cheez friend! Have a lovely day!

The US is very provincial and insulated and full of itself as it fits into the rest of the world. Ugh. Ah well, the schools are good and my family is here (and, of course, my kitties!).
