Most roller derby leagues use rules developed by the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).[86] The following is a summary of the WFTDA rules.[18] A roller derby takes place on a circuit track, on which players usually travel counterclockwise. The two teams each send five players onto the track — one jammer (scorer), three blockers (defense), and one pivot (a blocker who may become the jammer later in that jam). Helmet covers are used to display the players' positions: a cover with two stars is used for jammers, a striped cover is used for pivots and no cover is used for blockers. Two start lines are marked on the track: a jammer line, and 30 feet ahead of that, a pivot line. The pivots stand behind the pivot line and all blockers line up behind them in any order they choose. The eight pivots and blockers together are called the pack. The two jammers start behind the pack on the jammer line. The referee signals the start of jam formation by blowing a whistle. During jam formation, the pack moves counterclockwise, during which time players can change position. All pivots/blockers must remain in the pack (i.e., no more than 20 feet in front of or behind the largest group containing blockers from both teams). When the last person in the pack has passed the pivot line, the referee blows the whistle again, signaling the jammers to take off, and play begins in earnest with a jam. A jam is a 2-minute period during which the jammers attempt to score points. After passing the pack the first time, jammers earn one point each time they pass an opposing pivot/blocker. Pivot/blockers attempt to assist their jammer through and out of the pack while simultaneously stopping the opposing jammer from exiting the pack. If a pivot/blocker falls or otherwise becomes separated from the pack, she is out of play (i.e., cannot block or assist the jammers) until she rejoins the pack. The first jammer to legally pass all pivots and blockers once the jam begins wins the status of lead jammer for the remainder of the jam. The lead jammer can decide to end the jam at any time before the 2 minutes are up. She does this by placing her hands on her hips repeatedly, which signals the referee to officially call off the jam. After a lead jammer has been established, both jammers have the option of passing their positions to their teams' respective pivots (passing the star). This is done by removing the 2-star helmet cover and handing it to the pivot. The pivot then becomes the jammer

cool! i used to play soccer and i liked it! roller derby is actually really...violent? but its super fun! the rules are really complicated and ill tell you them some other time. YOU SHOULD SEE THE PINK PISTOLS PLAY! THEY ROCK!the best part is that you cant be bad at that game as long as you know how to skate!

So what big dreams do you have for your future? You know what's more ridiculous is the price people are willing to pay for that crap. Seriously, some of the stuff looks like it could have been done by a 4 year old....and probably better. Yet these 'artists' (and the term is used loosely here) think they are contributing something profound to humanity. Its b***sh*t. They've lost sight of what art was supposed to be about. Its not about some obscure insight into the tortured emo soul of the misunderstood sap as he discovers his primal self through some esoteric vision quest fueled by booze and psychotropic substances. Art made for its own purpose is about visual beauty and expressions of aestheticism.

Huh, i never thought of checkin the bible. And you make some good pointz. Just 'cause i'm a halfie doesn't mean i can't read it:D... i have to get one first though 0///////0. I'll definallt google fruits basket, sounds like some cool anime i'll like:). And i've almost got out all my "I"M SO FRIKIN P@#%#& AT MY MOM" out of me. I got a bunch of angrey music on my ipod for times like that. I mesage u when i either has update or when i need somebody to talks to, sound good bye u? And yes i have already tryed talking to my BF about it, but she's busy. Her mom just got outa prison and she's spendin all her spare time wif her, not that i blame her^.^ Anyways i hope u like pretear( i love it! i even got the theme song on my ipod!) and may i suggest watch iheartharemanime2's versions of pretear, there just better. Thanks for all ur support through this again, really. It means the wurld to me right now. Even if its somebody i've never met talking to me through a really cute pic of pinnk and white kitterz;) lol ~KB

Good morning. I remember HS, sorta. I try to block that out as much as I can -_-; Since I went to a French school, I only had English as a second language class...and being bilingual, the class was reaaaaaalllly boring. There was nothing for me to learn. It was more like a free period for reading :p which I like to do a lot of. Loved music, chemistry and physics, even though I sucked at the last two XD . The museum was super awesome this weekend. I went to see an exhibit on the terracotta warriors from China. After that, me and my friend went to laugh at the pemanent exhibit of modern and contemporary art. Its woefully pretentious! What is it with modern artists and d*cks?! Seriously?!

Most of my chocolate is gone from my freak-outz, but i got some b-day money left so i might spoil myself :P. The reason my mom wantz me to take therapy is because i've had some rough times with my ex-stepdad that really damaged me. Seriously it was so bad my brain blocked out a memory of something that happened a couple of years ago. The really sucky thing is that my mom's getting divorced from my ex-stepdad tomarrow THEN she's going to proceed to "wipe the slate clean" and forget all the crap and mental abuse he put us through for four years AND try dating him AGAIN! I allready know she's going to role over and just marry the, pardon my french, the BA%$#@&* AGAIN! I don't know why i even bother talking to her about how she's going to end up in the same place her mother is in right now. :( I in sucktastic mood right now. But on the other hand i discovered a really cool anime manga/cartoon this weekend called "Pretear"; heard of it? Its pretty cool and if you have intrest in it youtube pretear episode1. It usally comes in three parts. I prefer it in english but if your interested you can do it either way. I'm in the prosses of trying to find the manga volumes of it right now. Got any sugestions on anime you like that i should check out? ~KB

stressful as heck. I have fcat in two weeks, girlscout incapment may-may not have givin my mushroom poisoning, and my mom's going to contine therapy. Oh and i made honor role on my grade card! Plus i'm in the prosess of getting my mom to want kittens again... and with out MY friends and tea i propubly wouln't make it either:). Oh and my mom wants me to take some therapy too, i have no idea what i is going to do. I'll keep ya posted thoug, kay? ~KB

yeah, my cats are strange ^^; eh, my week was a week. Glad its over. Clients visiting, machinery not working, schedule behind, migraines T_T But its finally Friday ^_^ and tomorrow should be sunny so I'll be taking to the open road with my Darkness (my car that I love to bits and bits. black Acura with black interior and black tinted windows) with the sunroof open. Meeting a friend in the city and going to the Museum of Fine Arts. Good times to be had by all. So, you're in school. What is your favorite subject?
