hi zack stout is indeed full bodied and flavoursome. the archetypal version thereof is of course Guinness, which u can probably get hold of, tho it will be expensive. Tooheys (NSW brewer) does a respectable stout which I actually prefer to the bottled Guinness, which is all we can get around here. U will need to experiment if you think u like the first taste. b&b

Very nice to meet you and thanks! You know, I keep telling people, the fostering is entirely selfish. I'm addicted to kittens and this is how I get kittens forever! LOL Seriously, I would never hoard, but I obsess over kittens and was so happy to find a no-kill shelter to let me work with them to foster lots of babies. Two of my more difficult cases (tough to socialize, still quite shy) were recently adopted and it totally made my day. :) Anyway, thanks again, and I look forward to being cheezfriends with you! =D

Well, I give the vote, no matter what, simply for the effort. But to fave it has to make me LOL or be special. I'm sure you're going to be having a far better weekend than I. I have to work!! I'm a security guard and pull the graveyard shift! All in all, it's actually a pretty cushie job, so I don't complain TOO much!! =^..^=

Just about any Victorian beer is good - I think its something to do with the water. If u ever go to Fiji and drink the local beer it is very similar to vic beer for the same reason. The best known vic beer overseas is fosters, tho not so much now in Oz. I personally believe that fosters, VB (victoria bitter), melbourne bitter and carlton draught are all good and all but indistinguishable from each other (tho Carols late father would probably disagree). I speak of course of the normal strength beers, not the watery lite and mid strength beers that the brewery also makes. (Yes they all come from the same brewery - Carlton United Brewery - CUB) If theres anything else u dont want to know about beer just let me know lol!

The town with the underground houses is Coober Pedy and I think there are some in Lightning Ridge too. I have lived in Brisbane, Queensland; Canberra, Australian Capital Territory; Melbourne, Victoria; Adelaide, South Australia; Sydney and Byron Bay, New South Wales - so I have only missed out on Tasmania, Western Australia and Northern Territory. I understand where you are coming from with your children. We don't have any listed either....mind you they are in their 40's so they aren't kiddywinks anymore. LOL
