Nashville, Tennessee residents Bernard and Pamela Holland are suing three different defendants for using an edited photograph of their son Adam who was born with Down syndrome. Among those accused is a radio station that used the photo of Holland for a segment titled "Retarded News," which highlighted new stories about criminal incompetence. Against all defendants combined, the Holland's are seeking $9 million in compensatory damages and $9 million in punitive damages for a total of $18 million.
