"Cat view" instead of "Sea view"

The new cat hotel, named "Neko Hatago" is located next to a cat cafe so instead of offering rooms with sea view or skyline, the guests are offered bedrooms with a large window to an open area of the cafe where cats run around and play. That means guests can look out and see a bunch of frolicking kitties--and hopefully one to take home.

Opportunity for a two way observation

The hotel markets the idea as an opportunity for a two-way observation. On one hand, it provides a relaxing view of cats while encouraging guests to wave their hands and use toys to invite them closer to your room and to develop a bond. On the other hand, although you can close your curtain for privacy's sake, the hotel emphasizes the unique lodging arrangement of having "cats watch over you as you sleep."

The hotel itself has a traditional Japanese style interior (with plenty of feline wallpaper and decorations), and provides capsule hotel style bedding.
