Rare Twin Elephants Born in Africa (Video)

Motherhood is an amazing journey in the animal kingdom, especially for elephants who have an average pregnancy span of 18-22 months! Elephants are huge massive creatures with equally huge hearts and personalities! What they lack in poise and balance they make up for in sweetness. Seeing this sweet elephant squad embracing a rare pair of twin babies. 

Rare elephant twins have been born to the Winds II elephant family in the Samburu National Reserve in Kenya. Iain Douglas Hamilton from the Save the Elephants conservation NGO, says twin elephant births only represent about 1% of all births. 'In all the previous cases where an elephant has given birth to twins in Kenya, one of the babies died because it is a big stress on a female.' Via Inside Edition.
