We've said it before and we'll say it again: Wombats are the marsupial that everyone is sleeping on. Perhaps it's because you only really see them down under in good old Australia, but if it were up to us, wombats would be a worldwide thing. They're so cuddly, fluffy, and sweet, and they're also full of personality. Today we get to hear the story of Mitchell the wombat, who was rescued by a woman named Anita that runs a sanctuary for orphaned baby wombats.
As you will see in this absolutely wombat-iful video, wombats happen to be a very cuddly bunch! They were born for hugging and digging, and are also soft and cuddly animals with a lot of fur. Mitchell the wombat has a lot of love and affection for the caretakers who helped to raise him and keep him nice and safe during his formative years. Scroll down to hear more and also to see some of Mitchell's cuddly behavior and silly shenanigans in action, ah you mischevious wombat you!
