Meet Methuselah: The World’s Oldest Aquarium Fish (Video)

Methuselah is the oldest fish living in an aquarium in the U.S. Methuselah is a 90-year-old, 4-foot-long, 40-pound Australian lungfish that resides at the California Academy of Sciences' Steinhart Aquarium in San Francisco. Here at ICanHasCheezburger, we love to learn more about all kinds of wildlife, but we're especially fascinated by aquatic animals. It's a diverse group of animals and there is a hugely entertaining amount that can be learned about them. For example, we've covered a rescued seal get surprised for his 31st birthday, giant sea cucumbers (if you don't know what these are then you have to click the link and see), and of course one of our personal favorites, elephant seals. We just love to take a look at videos of awesome ocean wildlife, we learn a little something every time.

Known as the Australian or Queensland lungfish, it's 4-feet long and one of only six living species of air-breathing lungfish. Methuselah came to San Francisco on a steamship from Australia back in 1938.
