We love a heartwarming rescue story, and this one really had us in our feels. Poor doggo was trapped in his owners far after it caught on fire, but never fear! A brave police officer arrived on the scene and heroically smashed the windows of the car and after a few attempts, successfully got him out safe and sound. Doggo Hank's owner was extremely appreciative, we can only imagine what a stressful incident this was for him. We're just happy that everyone is safe, sound, and happy!
"A deputy in Colorado is being hailed a hero for taking immediate action to save a dog from a car that was on fire. On Thursday, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office shared a video of the Jan. 22 rescue after Deputy Michael Gregorek was responding to a call of a vehicle on fire. When he got to the scene, he saw a man trying to get his dog out of an SUV. The deputy then lunged into the burning vehicle and pulled Hank out. Hank thanked the deputy the only way he knew how: by licking his hero's face." Via Inside Edition.
