Woolly Mammoth Tusk From Ice Age Found in 'Once in a Lifetime' Discovery (Video)

We are endlessly amazed by the rich history of our planet. It seems like every day some amazing new archeological discovery is made and we come a little bit closer to picturing the beings that once roamed the planet! This fascinating video covers the discovery of a wooly mammoth tusk believed to be from the ice age. That's a heck of a long time ago. And it has been amazingly preserved. We, humans tend to take our earth for granted, so it's always nice when we are able to learn a bit more about the land we live on and all of the animals who called it home before us. 

"Archaeologists in England have discovered the tusk of a woolly mammoth. The beast would have roamed the area during the last Ice Age, stretching back about 30,000 to 60,000 years ago. The area near Plymouth in Devon is now a soon-to-be village with 5,500 homes and is known as Sherford. Now officials are marveling at what they call a once in a lifetime discovery."
