We leaped at the sight of these leaping lemurs, okay maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration. But they are so cute! Who would have thought that we would devote our attention to a video about lemurs enjoying a snacc. Actually, we probably could have predicted it. We love hongry animals. Whether its a squad of otters cronching on some shellfish, or a squad of capybaras absolutely demolishing a giant pumpkin, we love seeing our animals eating good and living better. Now open up, it's time for the choo choo train to pull into the 'wide-open mouth 'station.
"It's snack time for the leme team! Ring-tailed lemurs' top and bottom teeth form a structure called a toothcomb, which is used for grooming and grasping small fruits, removing leaves from stems, and scraping sap from tree bark. When they tip their heads back while eating, they're using their toothcombs to help them snack." Via Oregon Zoo.
