We love a wholesome rescue story as much as the next feline-loving human, we seem to have a soft spot for cats. Big cats, lil cats, and all members of the feline family. So when we came across this delightful video of an orphaned mountain lion, Rose, we had to stop and appreciate it. And appreciate, we did. Precious baby Rose is so beautiful! We are so overwhelmingly happy and content that she is being taken care of by such amazing humans! She deserves to thrive!
"An orphaned mountain lion is being nursed back to health by the Oakland Zoo. Caregivers named her Rose, and believe she's about 4 or 5 months old. An average cub of that age would be about 30 pounds. Rose only weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces. She is being bottle-fed formula and spoon-fed. Doctors are 'guardedly optimistic' about Rose's recovery. The Oakland Zoo is giving updates on baby Rose on its social media pages." Via Inside Edition.
