Rako Inoue is a Canadian artist who was born in Tokyo and moved to Montreal, Canada, when he was 9 years old. On his website, he describes himself as "very much influenced by both cultures so that folding origamis and painting graffiti never felt too disconnected from each other". Being curious by nature, he was inspired by the traditional Japanese art of Ikebana - creating unique flower arrangements. Raku has a beautiful garden at his home and every day, according to the different seasons, he takes what nature offers him and creates colorful sculptures of animals from flowers, stems and leaves.
