Our feathered friends are all around us, gracing our skies with their colorful wingbeats, our ears with their sweet chirps, and occasionally those side eye glances that can leave us feeling a bit uneasy. But what's some awkward side-eye between friends, right? Wrong. Some of them are off and about stealing local reporters ear pieces, for no good reason whatsoever other than to be a sneaky, sneaky bird. But hey, that appears to be reason enough for some.
"This news reporter learned, while on air, that it's a jungle out there. A beautiful parrot seemed to be making friends with Nicolas Krumm, a reporter in Santiago, Chile, but it was really planning a heist! It stole Krumm's earpiece! The bird might have taken issue with Krumm's report which was about an increase in robberies in the city. Krumm's camera operator tried to track down the thief and retrieve the stolen merchandise."
